3 MARKET PERFORMANCE
Функционирование рынка
Эффективность использования рынком редких ресурсов для удовлетворения потребительского спроса на товары и услуги, т.е. насколько успешно рынок справляется с задачей улучшения экономического благосостояния общества. Ключевые элементы функционирования рынка следующие: а) эффективность производства (см. Productive efficiency); б) эффективность распределения (см. Distributive efficiency), т.е. способность отрасли производить и реализовывать свою продукцию с наименьшими издержками; в) эффективность распределения ресурсов (см. Allocative efficiency), т.е. достижение соответствия цены издержкам производства и получение производителем нормальной прибыли; г) научно-технический прогресс (см. Technological progressiveness), т.е. стремление производителей внедрять новые способы производства и новую продукцию с целью сокращения издержек; д) характеристики товара (см. Product performance), т.е. качество и ассортимент предлагаемой производителем продукции. Согласно теории рынков, функционирование рынка определяется взаимодействием структуры рынка и поведения фирм на рынке. В свою очередь эффективность рыночного функционирования оказывает влияние на структуру рынка и поведение фирм. См.
